I had been preparing for the TEF Canada exam for a few weeks using random resources, but I always felt like something was missing. Most of what I found didn’t really simulate the real exam environment. When I started using Prep French, the biggest difference for me was the timing and structure. You actually feel the pressure of the exam, especially in the reading section where time management is critical. After doing a couple of full tests, I started approaching questions more strategically instead of just rushing through them. It’s definitely more than just practice, it trains you how to think during the exam.

Avant d’utiliser PrepFrench, je faisais surtout des exercices séparés sans vraiment comprendre comment gérer un examen complet. Avec cette plateforme, j’ai enfin pu m’entraîner dans des conditions très proches du TEF Canada. Le fait que tout soit chronométré change complètement la manière de travailler. Au début, j’avais du mal à finir certaines sections, mais après plusieurs essais, j’ai vu une nette amélioration. C’est vraiment un outil sérieux pour ceux qui veulent progresser efficacement.

One thing I really appreciated is how clean and straightforward the platform is. There’s no confusion, you just log in, start the test, and go through it like the real exam. I also liked that I could retake the tests and actually track my improvement. After each attempt, I became more aware of my weak areas, especially in listening. It helped me shift my focus instead of just doing more questions blindly.

Ce que j’ai trouvé particulièrement utile, c’est la répétition des tests. Pouvoir refaire les mêmes épreuves m’a permis de mieux comprendre mes erreurs et de progresser progressivement. Les sujets sont bien conçus et ressemblent beaucoup à ceux de l’examen officiel. On sent qu’il y a une vraie logique derrière la plateforme. Ça m’a donné plus de confiance avant de passer mon TEF.

I decided to go for the 5-test pack because I wanted something more structured, and it turned out to be the right choice. The progression from one test to another really helped me build confidence. Initially, I was struggling with time, especially in listening, but after a few attempts, I started finishing on time and with better accuracy. The simulation aspect is what makes the biggest difference.

Honnêtement, je ne pensais pas que la simulation pouvait faire une telle différence. Avant, je révisais surtout la grammaire et le vocabulaire, mais ici, j’ai appris à gérer mon temps et mon stress pendant l’examen. Après plusieurs tests, je me sentais beaucoup plus préparé. C’est une excellente préparation pour le TEF Canada.

What stood out to me is that this doesn’t feel like typical practice material. It feels like you’re actually sitting in the exam. The pressure, the pacing, everything is very realistic. I also liked the balance between difficulty and clarity, it’s challenging, but in a way that actually helps you improve. By the time I finished multiple tests, I felt much more confident about my exam.
